Getaria

Getaria is a little town in the shore of Euskadi. It's a great place for enjoy a weekend.
There is a car park where you can be, but only if it isn't summer. When you're there you see the beach, the sea and the port from your camping car.
There are many thinks to do. For example:
  • There is a small mountain, called San Anton, that is easy to climb.
  • There is a beautiful road to Zarautz that goes near the coast. It has 3,5 km, so it isn't long. At the end you can walk along the Zarautz's beach.
  • For the fashioners there is the Cristobal Balenciaga museum.

  • If the weather is good you can go to the beach and if the weather is bad there are going to be amazing waves.

This time, I travel at the weekend and on the Monday. I went to Navarra and La Rioja.

I leaved home on Saturday morning and I arrived to Briones at the noon. I visited the little town. I saw the Church with the tall bell tower, the rampart and another old buildings. After lunch I went to Alfaro. There I saw the Church in Spain with more storks. To finish the day I went to Cascante.

The Sunday I went to the thermoludic. It had a big pool with the water at 33ºC and streams for relaxing. I past all the day, but eat at the camping car. Cascante has too a good old part with some buildings and the Roman road.

  • Motor home. This camping cars are like trucks or buses but prepared for living in. They are the most expensive. They had usually all the comfort of a house and a lot of luxury (big TVs, a car under it...).
